William sold his 1995 BMW GS1150 and bought this 1968 BMW at the beginning of 2010. This is the "S"="sport" version, 600 cc and 42 hp. Six volt electrics, kick start only (of course). He picked up the enduro bags shortly after from a contact on the slash-2 mailing list or something. He intends to tear the motor all the way down and rebuild it to make sure the famous "oil slinger" is clear. This is a lot like the "sludge trap" problem on other bikes, though mechanically it's quite different.
