Barn-Fresh 1965 Honda Dream

A friend of a friend offered us this 1965 Honda 305 Dream, free! We picked it up last night. It was parked in the weeds behind the owner's house, with the front brake "locked up". I loosened the adjuster on the (single leading shoe) drum brake, put air in the tires, and it rolled right up on the trailer.

Sheet metal is mostly in very good shape, rims not rusted, original tires, 7800 miles on odometer. The mufflers are not rotted, chrome is good, the only problem is that someone helpfully removed the baffles. The motor has good compression (125lb in both sides after a squirt of oil into each cylinder, 100lb dry).

The seat, while in nice condition (and re-covered by the previous owner) isn't the stock seat, it had home-made "brackets" that supported the back of the seat on top of the rear shocks.

Missing parts: side covers, ignition key, petcock sediment bowl, right mirror, points cover, the stock seat.
